Judith DaSilva Cafur, 69, of Mozambique, passed away Sunday, July 4, 2021. She was born in Brava, Cape Verde, the daughter of Guilherme DaSilva and Ana Joao Tavares.

Judith worked for Law Offices of David Borts, CACD, MAPS, UNICEF and her most fulfilling career as a Bishop in Mozambique. For the past 13 years she dedicated her life to the disenfranchised youth of Africa and its people. She cofounded the Abundant Life Church of Mozambique, ministering to its local population, bringing many souls to our Lord. Centro Mama Judite another ministry she cofounded was dedicated to feeding and preaching God’s word with an emphasis on children.

She was the wife of Adamo Cafur. She is survived by her Loving son Guilherme “Billy” Neves, her daughter in Love Debora Neves, her daughter Claudette “Dette” Mathis, her son in Love Kelton Mathis, her daughters Regina “Gi” DaSilva and Jocelyn “Jojo” Cafur. She is also survived by her grandchildren Deaven Neves, Destaney Andrade, Joao Andrade, Imanie Andrade, Keyanna Mathis, Naomi Andrade, Alexis Mathis and Gabriela Neves. She is also survived by her great grandchildren Carmelo Ledbetter, Maia Ledbetter and Zofiella Andrade Dos Santos. She also leaves behind brother and sisters Domingos Deburgo, Guilhermina Andrade, Guilherme “Gill” DaSilva, Armanda Depina, Livia DaSilva, MaryLuize DaSilva, Robert DaSilva, Guilhermina DaSilva and Guilherme “Gilly” DaSilva.

She lived to serve others and the sharing of the good word. She will be remembered for always having an encouraging advice to someone in need. Most importantly a woman of God.

The family of Judith invites you to join them Sunday July 11th 2021 at the Ambassadors Church of the Nazarene, 194 Barton St, Pawtucket, RI at 5:00 pm as they remember the incredible life of the mother and friend she was to the world.
